Every Organization has a list of items that they could use to assist in the functioning of the group. This is our list in no specific order. Please contact us if you wish to donate an item listed or any other items that you think may be useful.

New & Improved Special Class Cars

The Special Class Cars have seen better days and it may be time to retire them.

The commission is looking for someone to design and build 9 new, lighter, Special Class Cars.

Items Needed for 2009 Race Day Silent Auction

For the past four years we have had a successful silent auction on race day and are currently looking for items for our 2009 auction. Past items have included:

Packer Tickets
One Night at Chula Vista
Autographed Football
Oil Change & Car Wash
Auto Detailing Package

EZ-Ups

The commission is in need of new EZ-up tents that are used during race day, open houses and fundraisers, etc.

Concession Stand Food & Beverages

Al's Pit Stop will need food and beverages for race day. Please consider donations for food and / or beverages for race day.

Transfer Race Video to DVD

There is old race video on VHS tape that would be nice to have on DVD. If you have the capability to make this transfer please contact us.

Volunteers for Race Weekend

The commission is always looking for more volunteers on Race Day weekend(Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2009). We start about 8 am on Saturday and go until we are done setting up. Sunday we start about 7 am and finish when everything is cleaned up (usually after 8 pm)

Please show up and ask how you can help.

Join us for an hour, all day or all weekend. And remember that it is for the kids!

Old Derby Cars

Do you have an old derby car in your basement or your garage?

Ever wonder what to do with it?

Donate it to the commission so that another driver can use in upcoming races!

We "loan" old cars to families that need assistance in building a car. The cars are giving out on a first come first served basis at the car inspections each year. Each family can "keep" the car until their child is no longer racing. At that time we ask that the car is returned to the commission. The cars do not have to be perfect, but they should be in good enough shape that to can be brought up to specs for racing.

Wanted: 8' Pull Down Attic Staircase

Donation Received: A cash donations has been received for the pull down staircase and it was installed by a Commission Member.

We are looking for a pull down stair to make access to our attic space in one of our buildings safer and easier. We will pick up. If you wish to donate money to pay for a staircase the price to purchase is approxiately $140.
